Enabling Technology
The Global Trust Exchange will ultimately include a wide
range of human connectivity applications providing collaborative
and communications services. These will include tools for
specifically managing the exchange of trust, and for managing
identity and relationships, screening email and instant
messages, and for collaboration and knowledge discovery.
Net Deva™ Software - Exchanging Value within Communities of
Trust
One of the first tools to be made available to GTX members will
be Net Deva™ trust-exchange software. Net Deva helps people
share information and social capital within trusted communities
and facilitates trusted introductions to prospective partners,
employees, employers, clients or customers, suppliers,
investors, etc. Net Deva also helps people find others who share
their personal and social interests and values.
It does this in part by enticing people to build and maintain
rich personal and professional profiles and by giving them the
ability to safely share this information about themselves and
their relationships. Each user instructs a personal Net Deva
Access agent to protect privacy and selectively give access to
their information. A Net Deva software Broker agent introduces
people who have a mutual interest in connecting, and can also
find a mutual contact, trusted by both parties, who can make a
personal introduction and provide more information. Net Deva can
also let any party remain anonymous in order to decide what
information to reveal to whom, without fear of either revealing
too much or possibly offending someone by revealing too little.
Net Deva software is being developed by Net
Deva, Inc., a not-only-for-profit corporation that is a
Founder of the Global Trust Exchange. Net Deva, Inc. will be
giving GTX (and other qualifying non-profit organizations) a
special license to use Net Deva for social purposes. The company
will generate revenue and profits primarily from business and
professional uses of Net Deva software and from related
services. Net Deva, Inc. will share a portion of revenue with
GTX (and other qualifying organizations) that is generated by
business and professional use of Net Deva software by members,
and also by referrals of Net Deva by members to people and
organizations that they know.
