Making a global
network of trust accessible to all people is our vision for the
Global Trust Exchange.
The World is filled with
both trust and mistrust, both love and hate, cooperation and
image that each person on earth is connected to every other by a
few trusted friends (“six-degrees of separation”) is
powerful and intriguing. This
network of trust potentially already exists
However, it is mostly invisible and inaccessible.
People who are most
successful in their professions and personal lives are often
very skilled at understanding, building and using the networks
of trust that are available to them.
They regularly apply “social capital” to aggregate
both intellectual and financial capital.
Imagine what can be
accomplished by making these trusted connections easily
accessible to more and more people. It would have the power to transform organizations in
all sectors of society: Businesses,
non-profits, and governments.
Increasing the trust that people place in each other
results in freer flow of valuable information, better decisions,
more efficiency and effectiveness, less friction and lower
costs, and more positive results for everyone in the system.
It will also have the
power to help individuals find the right people with whom to
work and exchange ideas and resources.
It would eliminate the pain that most people on the
planet now experience by having ideas and aspirations that they
can’t fulfill because they lack the partners and resources
they need, or have the wrong ones!
